Articles of the year 2021

Loud protests are heard from Jehangir Tarin on how hard he had worked to install Imran Khan as the PM, and how it would not have been possible for Imran Khan to become PM without his (Jehangir’s) assistance.
Of course much mention was made of the funds proffered by Tarin and of course the use of his aircraft by Imran Khan during his travels across the country.
JT, an ultra modern agriculturalist, who flaunts his aircrafts as part of his grand modern and successful image.
To earn extra space between himself and the others, JT was well aware of the importance of cultivating his profile to set him apart from the other yokels that make up the bulk of the political brotherhood.
Without his planes he would have been just another rich farmer, just one of many.
Every farmer boasts a land cruiser at least, without which he will find acceptability amongst his farming peers difficult, and in the pool of political aspirants, it’s easier if you arrive in your own plane.
A plane gets you a lot of respect in many countries
JT was well aware of the awe effect.
The newspapers still write about the flying farmer. All this was part of considerable attraction that brought JT to Imran’s attention.
On reading of the JT split from the Khan or vice versa, we wondered at the cause.
Soon I thought back and read the Prince by Machiavelli written five hundred years ago.
His first rule states “First, you must remove those who helped you take power.”
This action has been the most followed of Machiavellian dictums.
Our Pakistani leader, Bhutto, removed as the first step, General Gul Hassan and Air Mashal Rahim at gunpoint.
Many others were removed for the same reason, so important has been Machiavellian advice that for five hundred years the experience has become compulsory reading for politicians.
Imran Khan’s actions and JT’s bragging should be viewed in this context.
A political sequence is now understandable. JT has now upped the ante and is making a concerted bid for Premiership.
There are many in the Nawaz and Zardari camp that will flock to the anti Imran camp in search of their NRO.
JT is blinded by his sycophants, that Imran is ready for a fall.
They do not understand the hatred for the Zardari /Nawaz damage done to Pakistan.
Honesty stands firmly by Imran, still the best item on the menu.
With Shaukat to help him, the IPPs will soon renegotiate.
This step will indeed deconstruct the smokescreen long used by the IPP mafia to hide behind.
This will rid Imran of at least four ministers whose services will no longer be required, Imran is still the only hope for Pakistan.
JT may have committed political suicide by joining the band of robbers obviously funded heavily by the NRO seekers.
They do not understand the hatred in the hearts of the public for the looters of Pakistan.
The Nawaz Zardari duo will never walk the streets of Pakistan safely. Hence the bullet proof cars to and from NAB Headquarters.
The sight of Nawaz being hounded by taunting expats shows the latent anger nursed by the protesters.
This hatred will only increase by continuously avoiding their punishment,
They will never be forgiven. Pakistan is surviving on the remittances of the expat Pakistanis. who are to endure hardships while these crooks robbed the country.
The expat workers are well aware of who the enemy is. Imran Khan should dissolve the assemblies that are providing shelter to the looters.
Similarly the Saudi govt should send a clear message as indeed President has done that they will not tolerate a corrupt regime.
This message should be made clear to the UK governments who continue to provide protection to the criminal/murderers, like Altaf Hussain.
The people of Pakistan should make this clear through their relatives in the UK.
These people are a threat to Pakistan and should be deprived of the support being given by HMG.
Surely the UK should support a clean Pakistan rather than a corrupt regime.
The UK must encourage honesty from Pakistan rather than encourage dishonesty from Pakistani politicians.
To encourage corruption in Pakistani politicians is surely not in her HMG’s interest.
