The speed of light is the limit that cannot be exceeded by any object on earth. I have deliberately avoided the universe, as the universe may have more dimensions where the laws of physics may not apply.
One aspect needs consideration. The speed of thought has not been measured and it may be instantaneous as in the entanglement of the electron in Quantum Physics.

This has been acknowledged as instantaneous much faster than light. As we know light takes eight minutes to get to the sun, whereas a thought can reach the sun and back instantly. Thought has never been measured, neither has the speed of ESP been measured or recognized as real. The thought process has never been studied carefully. While ECGs have been mapped but not yet properly deciphered.

An MRI can only show irregularities in the brain but not the actual thoughts. So a mind reading machine has not been made yet. Work has been done on these aspects but there is nothing beyond the research and with no concrete results. There is no correlation between the data shown on the screen with any relevant coherent translations.

So thoughts remain thoughts. On the MRI machines, the accurate transcribing has not taken place yet. The thought on the MRI scan has not yet been deciphered. Western science is far from connecting the two. Perhaps the Silicon Valley scientist should go to the ashrams of Tibet and consult the local veds to seek guidance. Till then we will stumble along till Silicon Valley scientists achieve a breakthrough. Till then the speed of light is the finite limit. As a student of physics I understand and rely upon the establishment of the limits of the speed of light.

However the advances in the scientific field have been truly stupendous. All the advances made in Medicine, Physics. Biology. Chemistry and Technology are all of great benefit to mankind and of huge economic benefits to pharmaceutical companies. Very little comparable research in paranormal activities has been conducted. Only one interesting military action was employed by pilots in the Second World War. They were trained not to stare at their target pilots. As invariably he would turn and stare directly at the watcher as if the directions were accurately sent by the action of watching.

This was a set of military procedures enforced by the Royal Airforce.
Surprisingly this direction of the enquiry was never followed in peace time and no studies on these lines were undertaken.
Seventy years after the Second World War have passed, still no studies have been taken on the subject.
Who knows what lies undiscovered or how many more of nature’s secrets lie therein ?
