Articles of the year 2021

In our last article, “ The Imran Khan Model,” I had indicated that Imran had a very powerful list of admirers abroad. Amongst them Putin of Russia, MBS of Saudia, Mahathir of Malaysia, Trump of America, Erdogan of Turkey and last but not the least XI Jinping of China.
This is a formidable roster of the most powerful people in the world. They are high achievers and successful in their fields. They are admirers of Imran Khan as a person and a leader. This makes us, Pakistanis proud to have such a leader so universally admired.
In Pakistan he is deprecated by a handful of persons identified as corrupt and under trial for corruption and some serving sentences for the same. Some are on multiple murder charges.
However, with the large amounts of corrupt money in their control gives them a huge leverage within the media and of course the establishment which includes the judiciary.
It explains how Nawaz Sharif was allowed to leave Pakistan by a high court judge while serving a seven year sentence.
He was allowed bail which is beyond legality and against legal practices anywhere in the world. The Prime Minister himself was aghast at this subversion of justice with the PM, helpless to prevent this “escape” from Pakistan.
For a three time Prime Minister of Pakistan this shows Nawaz Sharif’s disdain for the Pakistani legal system. This is true contempt of the courts of Pakistan.

This is true contempt of the courts of Pakistan.
It explains Imran Khan’s predicament, but does not explain his inability to solve the problem.
He is the PM of Pakistan and has the power to appoint and remove judges. Nawaz has shown that out of power he can get the High Court of Pakistan to grant him bail.
Now he walks the street of London a free man and and can launch vicious attacks from his sumptuous residence in Park Lane moving around in chauffeur driven Bentleys. A high profile absconder addressing political rallies on tv.
If Imran Khan occupying the office of the PM can allow Nawaz Sharif to beat him then the system has usurped democracy. The judiciary has failed Pakistan. They should all go.
This calls for a revolution nothing less than bloody.
There is a wave of unrest sweeping through the people. The anger is palpable. Imran must strike now.
Someone else may.
The new man will certainly not pass the baton back to Imran Khan.
The revolution brings a new leader with the expressed point of denouncing a failed state. In the sweep all will go. There will be no remnants.
Far better for Imran Khan to lead than be led by the revolution.
