The Corona virus has indeed turned the world upside down. The economic downturn has already started and food riots are expected throughout the world. Even though there is no shortage of food, the anticipated shortage is creating a price rise wherever possible. The world markets love a crisis as it creates opportunities to make money. This is the biggest crisis that the world had faced. Fortunes are being anticipated.

President Trump has identified himself as the major opponent of Corona. Win or lose, he’s leading the battle against Corona. He is making threatening noises against China and he may even escalate sanctions ordered against China to escalate into a war. His ham- fisted threats have been suffered by many countries in the past.

Today the antagonists facing each other are different and their strengths are different. On paper the USA is a formidable adversary.

The battle complement of the US Navy is well known to all courtesy Google. The question to be answered is how many fit able bodies are available to man these ships without contamination spreading in the close quarters on the ships while at sea.

With this spread of Corona in the United States even the army installations and barracks maybe under quarantine already.

So the human complement available though secret, will not allow a full scale invasion on the smallest adversary.

Even Hong Kong maybe out of the once mighty US reach. A nuclear war with its accompanying repercussions will definitely be ruled out by the chain of command within the American system.

They would prefer to remove Trump first. While these lines are being written the various options have already been debated as alternates in the Pentagon.

America is the most advanced military machine in the world and also possesses the best analytical minds. They will have factored in all the variables including Corona. So unwarranted attack on China is implausible and the American system will not allow even Trump at his most belligerent to make such a move. So we can sit back and watch this drama unfold, eventually to simmer down without a shot being fired.
