These are interesting times for Imran Khan and Pakistan. The wheel of life is bringing the blessings to grace Imran and notwithstanding cacophony of cries against Imran and his government by all the opposition parties who are insisting that Imran is doomed and the end for Imran is nigh. The chanting of the downfall is so loud that even the staunch supporters of Imran Khan wonder at the supra confidence air of the opposition. Even Maulana Fazl ur Rehman, if failed spoiler, is claiming the victory and is using the same spell of a doomed future for Imran giving a timeframe of weeks and months.
This unreal scenario is being repeated so often and from many different sources that the doubt is creeping in to the allies of Imran. So many people cannot be wrong. A the sheer number of people voicing this doom are overwhelming and shows the superb organisation that has been cobbled together by the anti-Imran forces with a one point agenda to remove Imran at all costs. Listening to all forms of media, one is amazed at the people voicing their concern at the inability of Imran to survive this huge swell of hatred. It shows the ingenious manner in which this hatred has been fanned and the flames threaten Imran and his PTI. It is similar to the bookies in the 92 World Cup, giving odds against Pakistan in the last over and the last ball.
Imran stands alone in Pakistan. He is surrounded by the diehards who fling accusations of incompetence and mismanagement spelling doom and failure for his government. The media in Pakistan is so convincing that all but the most hardened supporters of Imran are convinced that the end is near. The all time loser Fazl ur Rehman, with the nickname of “Mualana Diesel” who has been touted by the media as the new leader backed by the powerful members of the opposition and support of the media shows how selective and appropriate funding by the clever few can affect the gullible many.
It is surprising that there are only two newspapers and two TV channels towering over the rest making the others insignificant. However, the impression all round is that of total support to the opposition parties. Showing the effective control of the media by the opposition parties. This is the complete picture of internal Pakistan. Externally a different story is apparent. Except for India - the Malays, Trump and the Turkish President Erdogan have joined together in unanimous support for Imran.The supporters of Imran Khan can rest assured that the international forces , except for India are unequivocal for Imran proving that the politicians of Pakistan have established themselves as the out castes of the world. Even the Indians are realising that Modi has been exposed by Imran and his politics of rabid racism is internationally unacceptable.
This swing against Modi and his racist policy will now spread into India Itself where the Hindu majority will wake up to the fact that they are being manipulated at the core by a handful of Bramins and cannot possibly control the destiny of 1 billion other sects. The election reverses to Modi in Delhi are indicative of the swing against racism who vastly out number the so called superior brahmin leadership. Modi will realise that secular india was successful because of the wide spread following of all. The select few cannot control the many, The sheer numbers will win. Unless as in China or Russia, there is a one party state with no other parties involved, minority or otherwise.
The opposition to Imran Khan consists of two media houses with the funds from the loser politicians who are facing cases of corruption. Sooner rather than later, the judiciary will have to deliver the punishment that is their due. On the international scene, Trump will definitely need Imran’s assistance for getting its troops out of Afghanistan. The US and Afghanistan need the support of Imran Khan, this will further isolate India militarily.
The Afghans are the wildcard that will now bite the Indian hand that has fed them for so many years. The Afghans have never been defeated. Something the Americans have realised after 18 years and billion in losses, they desperately need Imran’s support. The political enemies of Imran should realise that the Indian flag of support will only drive the Taliban closer to Pakistan. As Indians and America can be considered joint enemies of the Taliban. The last defeat of the Afghan was led by the Sikhs of Ranjeet Singh 200 years ago, no one else! So Pakistan and the Afghan are natural allies. Islam is the cement that will bond them together.
