Raise your voice Pakistanis!
Published on August 03rd, 2020

A famous political sage has commented that
“A country gets the leadership it deserves.”
Indeed Pakistan reached its lowest level when a turnip and a ticket scalper were successful in becoming the rulers of Pakistan.

One showed his mental capacity when he took a crib sheet with him to a meeting with President Obama and was seen consulting it, immortalised on YouTube to the embarrassment of all Pakistanis.

These two leaders have since been removed from their positions but continue to exercise their hold on the reins of power.

Luckily Imran Khan was elected and became the Prime Minister fortunately for Pakistan. He is admired by the majority of the Pakistanis and viewed with respect outside Pakistan as well by the international community.

However he is being prevented from doing his job by obstacles placed by the turnip and scalpers in his path.
They are creating these obstacles using immense wealth accumulated illegally during their stints in power.

It is now a time for the judiciary to assert itself and apply the law. Without law Pakistan is fast becoming a failed state. It is also important that the judiciary exercise its independence.

For too long has the judiciary been bullied by the politicians. Tales of briefcases being flown to Quetta to pay Supreme Court judges to rebel against Syed Sajjad Ali Shah, CJP of the Supreme Court at that time !

The hijacking case is yet another case of monstrous and shameful manipulation of the law. The judiciary has much to correct, atonement alone will not be enough.

The black sheep must be punished for the respect of the judiciary to be properly restored and the confidence of the people regained.

All Pakistanis, young and old must raise their voices for the restoration of the system, punishment of the black sheep, and those that ordered them.
