General Saheb, you are heading the Pakistan Army of which we are justifiably proud. Your performance to date and that of your institution is impeccable.

Similarly, Imran Khan has taken over as Prime Minister and has the distinction of being the only honest Prime Minister to date. However, we observe an inability by Imran Khan’s government to make any meaningful advances in governance. It appears that there is a third force which is blocking Imran Khan’s directives.

With all his avowed principled stands, he has been unable to pull through his primary goal, which was to punish the looters of national wealth. The judiciary itself gave Nawaz Sharif, a convict serving a seven year sentence for corruption, bail to leave the country for medical reasons for which no law exists.

It appears that there is a third force which is deliberately blocking Imran Khan’s directives. As you and Imran Khan are genuine patriots who wish this country well, It is important that your institution be tasked with the job of uncovering the third force which threatens to destabilise the workings of the government of Imran Khan.

General Saheb, your primary duty should be to ensure the smooth functioning of the civilian government. As the political forces in Pakistan have brought Pakistan to its present sorry state where even a once successful PIA has just been exposed as an airline with 40% of its pilots flying with defective documents.

Shockingly the last PIA crash at Karachi airport was diagnosed as the pilot’s error. PIA at one time created Emirates airlines and helped startup Singapore Airlines and Air Malta. From this position of teaching other airlines to grow and prosper, we have allowed the political interference in the running of PIA and now it is no longer a carrier, safe enough to fly with or one to be proud of.

General Saheb, the sugar and wheat scams, that have surfaced in Imran Khan’s tenure are glaringly obvious where the mafias of corruption are manipulating the system in spite of Imran Khan.

There is a strange disconnect between prudent policies of Imran Khan which are bypassed by the corrupt third force that exists. This force is doing its best to prevent the success of Imran Khan’s government. As Imran khan is surrounded by politicians who have a proven record of corruption, we request that your office guide Imran through these minefields which are obviously blocking his success.

The politicians are so deeply infected that removal may kill the patients. You can help Imran to discard some of the obvious causes of this present malaise. The PPP and PML-N still have strong and vocal presence in the assemblies. Not only are they loud enough to create a stir but their volume can drown out the voices of reason. This cacophony creates an impression of strength beyond their numbers.

The TV audience viewing the proceedings and diplomats watching will surely get the impression that all is not well with the government of Imran Khan. This is an unfortunate effect of an unruly tail wagging the dog.

General Saheb you must now develop a closer rapport with Imran khan so that he is not misled by the many PML-N staffers surrounding him. They are more dangerous than the COVID-19 as they can cause damage to a nation and not an individual. We Pakistanis may recover from COVID-19 but we will not survive damage by the politicians.

Our low exports of finished products and closed factories are the direct results of incompetent political rule. General Saheb, Pakistan can no longer afford such incompetence. Imran Khan is being trapped by these corrupt leftovers of the political regimes.
