Articles of the year 2019
Published on December 27th 2019
The above article was written by me 5, 6 years ago. However the recent cancellation of Imran Khan’s visit to Malaysia has truly shocked me. It has destroyed the image of a fearless Imran prepared to face any danger rather than back down on a principle. The Threat from MBS that he would deport all Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia was scandalous and showed the callas nature of the Man. We Pakistanis are fully aware of our economic plight. We do not need a murderess Arab Princeling to remind us. Shocking is the deafening silence from the GOP. Imran should make clear that we Pakistanis are prepared to accept charity from Arab brothers but not at the cost of our Sovereignty which we consider to be more important to us. We cannot and will not bow-down to demands which compromise our National Pride.
For too long have robber rulers sold the Pakistanis Silver for a song. The PIA roots to Arab carrier led to the distruction of PIA and the creation of Emirates, to name just a few. To view the plights of the Pakistani workers in Saudi Arabia serving under inhuman conditions packed six to a room. Toiling twelve hours a day in the heat of the Saudi summer is inhuman. But the necessity is a cruel reality and bends most spirits. We would rather Imran turn his attention to punishing the robber rulers into repaying a fraction of what they have stolen.
Why is there hesitancy on the part of Imran in the return of the stolen money. If the robbers feel pain in this return so be it. Under Quranic law their hands should be chopped off. Which would they prefer? They could be offered anesthesia to dull the pain at hand chopping or the Arab princeling of skinning the victim without anesthesia. Imran should take both pieces of advice from the prince rather than only one. The pain is an important part of punishment and the robber rulers must of necessity feel this. A measure of pain is an essential part of the process. Without the pain, it is meaningless.
It is obvious that along with easy bail available to The Sharif’s and Zardari’s Demand, the light pressure of painless interrogation is also a part of the benefits extended to the Sharif’s and Zardari’s. That is how they have avoided returning the Stolen Money (loot). Which is not the world pressure on Imran Khan, but the success of the PML-N controls of the judiciary and the interrogators?
Imran must realise the importance of pain in the punishment process, he did, in the Whitehouse commit to remove the AC’s from the prison cells of the Sharif’s and Zardari’s. Why was it stopped? The question arises, are the poison cells of these robber rulers to be of a genteel nature replete with all mod-cons? According to this scenario the hell of the Sharif’s and Zardari’s will be without fire and brainstorm, and hell will be replete with milk and honey, or so the politicians would have us believe. Imran thinks that no screams of pain would be heard. Something is wrong.
Imran must realise that ruling a country is different from running eleven men. His failures in Pakistan have been primarily the absence of fear in his Subjects. Fear is an essential part of discipline, without which neither governance nor obedience is possible. The result will be anarchy with a total breakdown of governance. A case in recent time is the Seizure of 19-Kilo of heroine from the Minister of law of the Province of Punjab. Is any more evidence required to show the miss governance and descent into depravity of a government?
The pain should be restored in the instruments of interrogation. The removal of which has been a God sent to the Crooks of Pakistan.
